I went to Goodwill for the big Halloween sale they have every year and I got all kinds of fun goodies! I picked up these big spools of wire ribbon in fall colors with gold sparkles. I wasn't sure what to do with them but I finally figured something out. I found a video on youtube on how to make big ribbon bows. I made my first bow and it obviously looks like a beginner made it but I'm proud. lol.

Are you a crafty person? What kinds of crafts do you make for Fall/Christmas time? Do you make anything to give as gifts? I'd love some ideas if anyone feels like sharing.

I do all kinds of crafts, but primarily knit and spin my own yarn.

I'm a plus size girl and Halloween costumes hardly ever fit, so I was considering making my own circle skirt. (red/white polka dots for Minnie Mouse!) I've never done that before either but I found a great little tutorial online so I might give it a shot. I'm just feeling crafty all of a sudden, it's strange but awesome.

Ha! When am I *not* doing something crafty? What with the baking and the sewing and the gardening...

Sometimes, I do give gifts that I've made. I sewed a playset of Angry Birds for the kids to play with, some clothes for my husband, pajamas for the kids.

I'm not sewing-crafty, but I make perfume and home spa treatments. My sister's roomie refers to me as a DIY Queen. I don't have a passion for scrapbooking, but I'll do it for gifts occasionally (it's fun, just no passion for it).

I'm trying to pick up sewing, but I'm not very good at it. I'm more into the chemistry you can put on your face.

I do small projects every now and then and it's a mixed bag of whether they turn out right or not. Made some bow tie collars for my cats a couple of days ago and they are adorable :3

Yes, I enjoy making my own things here and there. I like designing my own tattoos, altering my jeans and shirts, I would like to make my own clothes if I knew how. I'm a libra, we tend to be artsy and creative. I do small projects here and there.

I said I'm not that good at it, but really I just don't stick with it. I can do origami and sew little things like tiny plush hearts with wings or a little tentacle monster. And I can draw. But I just don't stick with things to the end that often.

I love doing everything crafty that I can, even the stuff I'm not as good at. I want to get back to painting but my easel got old and broken and I had to drag it to the side of the road this year. Also, since I thought I was moving this year, most of my supplies are packed up in my loft. EEEK! I have no room to put it back anywhere, lol.

That's sounds so fun! My fingers are short and stubby so I've never been able to do anything that takes good finger coordination, lol.
