Yes, it does. I am a math major and my career currently is math tutoring. I also work in-class as a student assistant type.

Yes, and no.

I have more than 1 degree, most of them not being used, although one of them is medical assisting, and I work in a medical office. My main degree that I spent most of the money/time on, doesn't really have anything to do with my career

not any longer. I have moved on to a new career. But needed another degree. So I guess yes my seconded degree goes along with my career.
