Do you believe in plastic surgery?

I think it can help someone feel more in tune with their bodies but I don't think I would do it!

Of course, I look at my mother and her sisters' necks (and even some of my cousins on that side of family) and think, "OMG, I don't want that." If I could afford it, I might have a "chicken neck" procedure. It makes such a difference in one's appearance, and doesn't effect any function of the body. We can't afford it, but still. If we could afford it, maybe. But, I hate anesthesia.

Botox? Hell yeah. I'm looking into it now, for my migraines, and hope it will have.... good side effects. Again, it doesn't effect my children in any way, so I have no ethical issues with it.

(Damn, I'm a vain biotch. )

I think all points are valid. Because of my DNA and medication I'm heavy and so sick of being looked at as a big girl. Yet I'm afraid of lipo and I already can't each much and would no way to gastro bi-pass. As for breasts, I've never actually met a woman with fake boobs, but I have a friend who had to get a reduction for her back, and was done having kids, and it really changed her ability to function. I suppose I will eventually hit an age when I don't care either, lol.

I'm for it. In fact, I'll need 5 surgeries to breathe properly. Because small nose that's why. Also, breast reduction(more like disparition) will be needed at some point in my life.

i have a friend who lost over 100 lbs and of course plastic surgery has helped her tons- just to remove excess skin. i also have a friend who got her breasts reduced and her back problems have disappeared. another friend had a strange condition- while most women have a slight size discrepancy in their breasts she had one H32 and one A32 so augmentation seriously improved her struggles with loving her body. on the other side of things I have a friends who had a gorgeous absolutely perfect body and then went and made her C32's into DDD32's. sexy maybe but a little silly if you ask me.

Gawd, I'd fall over! LOL! Good for your friend who lost weight though! I lost 100 lbs but was young when I did so and my skin was fine, but unfortunately I gained the weight back when they upped my meds.

Other! I really don't think it's my business what other women want to do with their bodies. I don't think I'd get any personally, but who knows? I have plenty of time to change my mind.

I've considered cosmetic surgery on a few occasions. I have a few unique traits that I was born with, that I don't find attractive. That said, I've decided to instead accept myself the way I am.

Still, I don't think less of people who undergo plastic surgery. In fact I think it's awesome that they're doing something that they want to do.
