I work from home so it all depends on what I want for lunch that day. If I need to cook what I want, I cook it, but I also buy some premade stuff (canned soups, JDs pulled pork, etc) for the days where I'll work through lunch rather than take more than 5 minutes to prep it.

I try to make mine. I only get 30 minutes and places are pretty far away from where I work.

When I was volunteering or while I was in school, I preferred to make my lunch but rarely had the time so I usually just bought lunch.

Make it. Granted, it's nothing special (peanut butter and nutella sandwich, can of soda, and randomly chosen snack), but it's cheap.

About half and half, try to make and bring lunch to work at least 2 or 3 days per week.

When I had an "office" job, I'd make lunch the night before, same with college. I couldn't buy lunch because I am always low on money, and there was no place close by to get food.
