I use to play. I started back in 2004 and played for years before quitting. Don't look back on it at all.

My boyfriend plays but I wouldn't dare make him quit. So long as he doesn't take it to unhealthy levels and it makes him happy (and helps him relax a bit) then more power to him.

My ex got me into it, and he was seriously hardcore. I was not, but I still enjoyed it. When my subscription ran out I just did his dailies for him, and eventually he switched to StarCraft.

I wouldn't mind trying sometime, but as a rule, I tend not to play multiplayer games that have a subscription. I was almost tempted to join when they offered a free copy of Diablo III with a year subscription, but, again, I am a bit... fickle?... and I tend to jump from game to game frequently.

The contents of the game has became more and more easy and dull lately, we started to play the game less and less and eventually quit the game altogether. I still have my World of Warcraft account active, however I haven't spend anytime playing the game for more than a month now.
My question is how many people here heard of World of Warcraft? play World of Warcraft? or wish their partner would just stop playing World of Warcraft? less

I hate the game, but my husband used to spend every second he wasn't at work playing it. He would play until 5 am and then go to work at 6am, come home for lunch and play, go back to work, then come home at the end of the day and play. It was ridiculous. Right after Cataclysm came out he got bored and stopped though.
He reactivated his account yesterday which scared me, but he was on for a whole 10 minutes and said he was bored.

We've never been into WOW, but I understand the mentality. We both used to play FFXI pretty extensively when it first came out, but it just got too expensive.
