Here is my last pic before the trees and clouds covered it up.

Our attempt failed. We saw Venus through the lenses with our sunglasses on, but the camera failed to capture it; I guess it doesn't work unless we have a pair of welding shade like yours.

Never even knew about it! Though the sky around here was cloudy all day long, so thank goodness for Tim and his handiness! Neat pics, man!

I couldn't watch it, due to clouds, and nor could I see it online. I've seen pictures, yes, but I feel it's not the same as seeing it in person.

If it helps, I took about 100-120 pictures just to get four good ones. lol I used the 'Shoot & select' option that takes pictures as long as the shutter button is held down.

I watched it on SLOOH space camera. it was amazing. they had live feeds from austraila, the netherlands, sweeden, america, all over the world. it was breat taking.

Tim did you use a filter to get the shots? One feed had the red sun , that was way cool. and Japan's feed was a white sun.

Just a welding shade from my hood. It has a green tint thus the coloring.

OK, that makes me feel a little better. We just took like eight shots, they all showed closeups of the huge bright sun, but no Venus.
