Do you watch kids movies?

My little one loves Disney and Pixar movies. He gets stuck on one though and wants to watch it ALLLLL day. So I get burnt out on whichever one he's obsessed with.

I do. We just watched puss and Boots last night with my Niece

I watch them with my kids. When the original cars came out I swear I had that movie memorized because my oldest watched it so much.

I do once in a while, my kids are getting too old to watch them for the most part...in their mind anyway. My oldest (almost 21) and I watched Lion King together last weekend though.

I have no kids but watch the movies myself

I don't have kids, but I love watching Disney movies. Mostly older Disney movies, though. I'm not a fan of many of the new ones. They just weren't interesting enough to me.

Plenty of movies (and shows) for kids are surprisingly well-made and well-written. I enjoy watching them, and I don't even have kids!

What kind of mommy would I be if I didn't?

Yes I do watch with my kids and on my own. Sometimes you just can't help those old Disney movies.

Hoping this doesn't make me sound pretentious, but I don't think animated movies are necessarily kid's movies. Child-friendly or child-appropriate does not mean that they are not perfectly legitimate adult entertainment. It doesn't have to include sex, violence, and strong language to be adult.

On that note, I watch and enjoy both. I consider kid's movies to be ones that do not contain particularly complex or adult themes, or do not have a particularly adult sensibility. For example, Winnie-the-Pooh is a kid's movie, since it's a slice-of-life, isn't-it-great-to-be-t ogether sort of film. Heart-warming without being sentimental mush for adults, and gentle, positive entertainment for kids. The Emperor's New Groove is a totally child-friendly movie with an adult sensibility - it has nothing inappropriate, but it's so self-aware and so mocking towards the unlikely friends road movie genre that adults will find far more to enjoy than kids.

So... I watch animated movies all the time, as well as everything the Muppets put out, and I'm furious at Disney for sitting on the DVD releases to all of their old cartoon shows.

I don't have kids to watch with but I love Disney movies. One of my childhood favourites was on TV just the other day actually, Beauty and the Beast.

I watch all types of animated movies. So yeah, I do.

My man and I LOVE kids movies almost as much as our children do LOL
