Do you drink anything with caffeine in the hours before going to bed? :)

I just wonder if that may add to the reason why I fall asleep so hard, not that I drink an amount what could count...

I have enough trouble as it is falling asleep, so I try to avoid caffeine after dinner.

I drink Diet Coke all day long. It's all I drink, so I don't stop based on the time.

I try to avoid anything with caffeine in it as much as possible. I'm supposed to limit my intake as much as I possibly can.

I drink caffeine all day, even right before bed. That's literally the last thing I drink before brushing my teeth and going to sleep. It helps me to sleep, but I can't have high amounts of sugar or it'll do the opposite

The only caffeinated drink that will prevent me from sleeping is strong Chinese tea, so I'll stay away from teas four to six hours before bedtime.

I live on coffee at all times, recently I have gotten hooked on some teas from teavana and they have less caffine than I am used to so I have to wean from coffee or I get withdrawal headaches. I'm a night shift nurse and have been for years. And yes you can get withdrawal headaches while sleeping from not enough

No I still drink caffeine before bed. I don't know if it affects my sleep. Maybe. I fall asleep really hard too, so it could be that. However, I don't always drink caffeine right before bed, but usually.

I voted 'Other', because the fact of the matter is that caffeine before bed time will make it more difficult to sleep, but my internal clock is so screwy that I often don't sleep on a normal schedule, and will often end up drinking it before I do go to bed. The average half life of caffeine is five hours, and for me specifically, it's about 2.5 hours (but yours may be very different), but I may drink several cups a day, and thus have the compound effects of those drinks.
If you think it's affecting your sleep, no matter how small the amount, I'd suggest figuring out if there's some way you could either ween yourself off of it short term, or stop drinking it after say...5 PM, for about a month, to see how your body reacts, and whether or not it helps your sleep.

Caffeine doesn't usually affect, so it doesn't usually affect me falling asleep. I still try to avoid drinking it before bed though, just in case.

Caffeine doesn't bother me or my sleeping in fact I drink it right up until I go to bed or in the middle of the night when I get up to get something to drink
