Yes. My husband and I had an affair while we were both married...to other people. We divorced the ones we were with and it has been 16 years of marriage and still working on our relationship. Not due to the cheating, but other issues.... I regret hurting other people and the pain we caused but not loving each other and our time together. We did not do it for the sake of cheating--but because we knew we had finally found the person we were both meant to be with.
