I always made friends (including my hubby) on vampirefreaks.com and some on facebook. back when myspace was cool still, that was the BEST way for me to meet new friends to hang out with. But social networking is the way to go. You can look up networks and see who shares your interests that way

I made a few good friends on IMVU, I started hanging out in public rooms that suited my interests, started chatting with people, and then I met my buddy Brooke...I even met my bf on there originally. ^_^

Find a forum about something you're interested in! For me there are a lot of Sci fi forums that I can make a lot of friends in, and of course the Eden forums. A lot of it is that communication goes both ways! You have to make sure that you start conversations with them, too.

You can try social networks, forums on your interests or serious chat rooms. You are on a great site to start building friendships already!! EF has many wonderful people that would be open to letting a real friendship build. Good luck, you can message me if you just want someone to talk to!!
