Personally, I'd take my laptop for entertainment purposes (assuming, probably incorrectly that there was some form of power on this island), my favorite book, a bed in a bag (I like to be comfy), a hefty supply of matches for fire and my best friend because if I have to be on a deserted island, so does she. Plus, she'd pick booze as one of her things so we'd be set.
