I have heard of it before, however, I have never had it because there are none anywhere around where I live.

I had In N Out a couple times on a trip to California. It was pretty good, but there's a small chain near where I live that I think is better.

Not a fan of In-N-Out burger at all. Their animal fries are gross!

A few years ago I was in California for the Rose Parade and had In&Out twice while there (once after the parade and other time at an event for students in the parade). Both times I ate it all up; all friends on the trip with me loved it as well and we talked about it for months after returning back home.

Unfortunately I have not been out that way since or have been able to find another location to enjoy the yumminess.

I so don't get it. After listening to my radio DJ speak for years about LOVING In and Out, I finally got to go to one, while on a trip. It was....mediocre, at best. Same as FIVE GUYS, which WE now have several of here. MUCH hub-bub and yet...food was, well...sad.
Greasy fries combined with thin, flavorless burgers (and I LOVE burgers).

For national chains, the BEST burgers I have yet found are 1. Ruby Tuesdays and 2. Red Robbin

Find a FIVE GUYS. It's the same experience and food. All over the East Coast....except at least Five Guys has GREAT free peanuts.

That is true of EVERY place...or the size shrinks. A Big Mac burger is smaller now then the Happy Meal burger was a decade ago!

Honest...could not tell a difference between their food and Five Guys, found ALL UP and DOWN the East Coast. Try that and you will know what the deal is.

What chain? Please share name!!! We have one called B and D Burgers, but it too is more hype then great food. If you ever find a CHICKEN WAFFLE (yes, really the name) place, GO THERE for a SUPERB burger. RUBY TUESDAY and RED ROBBIN still hold the prize for the best of the best burgers in my mind.

What?? Haha, this is making me so sad! But I can't lie, the new manager at ours is so rude. It makes me not want to go as often (which actually may be good for my diet). But the food is good, so I continue to waste my college years inside the red and white building.
