What age did you get proposed at, how did he propose

I was actually 16 the first time my boyfriend proposed to me. He was walking me home, and it began to rain. We always stopped at the stop sign at the corner to say our goodbyes. I was about to walk away, and he got on his knee and pulled out a plastic ball, like the ones you get in the machines, and asked me. It was so cute, and I said yes. He promised me he would buy me a real ring someday. Now, 5 years later, and we aren't even engaged anymore. (

I got proposed to twice, both by the same guy. He was sweet and cute both times, but the 2nd time when he woke up early on my birthday & went out searching for a ring so he could come home and wake me up with the proposal. Never did marry him though

I was proposed to several times by different guys between the ages of 16 and 21. I finally married one (not Alan) at age 21 (BIG mistake) and divorced him 2 months later.

Alan proposed in various ways over the course of 9 years before I finally married him. The most memorable one was when he went down on his knee with a ring and asked me in front of the elders at a Native American PowWow. He knew I favored Pagan ceremonies over mainstream, so he figured I'd let one of the elders marry us right there. It really put me on the spot because I knew it had to be embarrassing for him, but you have to be true to yourself, so I said no. I still feel bad about that.
