Would you ever consider meeting someone from EF?

Contributor: Onanist Onanist
Yes, I would definitely consider meeting someone from the EF community

For your follow up question; If I were to recognize someone from EF, I would say Hi, I think I know you from EF.

We should do a postsecret community-like event. Set up a time and place on each coast and have a picnic! :]

+1! I would LOVE to see EF events around here!

While I wouldn't agree to meet up with just anyone on EF, there are tons of awesome people on here that I would be honored to meet face to face with. Especially if it were for some sort of event, that would be awesome!

There are a lot of people on this site that seem like they're truly 'fun' individuals! In fact, I have seen a couple of video reviews from gals, and I've said to myself "wow, she seems really cool..I would love to meet her!"..So, yeah..I'd definitely consider it!

I'd absolutely consider meeting someone from here in real life depending on how well we got along online. I'd be way too shy to just blurt it out at someone I ran across that I recognized them from the site, though. That would make me feel a little stalkerish...

But yeah, I met my real life BFF on a pretty weird online place and the first time I met her in person, I'd flown across the country to be a bridesmaid in her wedding And now I'm planning on moving there!

I said yes. People on here are great!! With caution though, and I would be very selective on who.

I am very impressed with how few people said "No, absolutely not". Of course, I understand their reasoning though: security, continuing anonymity, etc. But it's nice to see people say "Well, never say never". I don't know why that cheers me up, but it does. Maybe because EF has become such a part of my day with all my life changes.

/Agree! Honestly, my dream job is working at some sort of Sex Toy Shop or Company, if I didn't live about 500 miles away from where Eden's HQ is, lol, I'd put in an application.

I wouldn't mind meeting people from EF, but I'd have to have ground rules:

1) Synthetik would have to approve

2) He would have to be with me when I met with the person(s) in question for coffee/lunch/dinner or whatever

3) And the person in question would have to know that, as quoted from Synthetik himself, "... let [them] know we don't play with others" (name/gender term omitted by me for privacy issues)

I was recently approached actually about meeting someone on here in person, and those were pretty much the guidelines. It's not in offence to the person or anyone, not at all (and I hope they know that, lol) but with meeting people from the internet, you have to be careful. That and my definition of meeting someone (ie: going to coffee, lunch, dinner or something) may be different than other's definition of meeting (as in, doing intimate things, I guess), and Synthetik told me to put that on the table right from the beginning, so I did . He just wants to make sure I'm safe and is very protective of me, not that I mind, of course

I think your rules are not only good but very important! Safety, security, and partner approval are key. Someone should never make you feel uncomfortable, threatened, or have to hide/lie to your life partner(s). And anyone who takes issue with such practical and simple ground rules wouldn't be worth meeting.

And since you mentioned the EF headquarters, I had to look it up. I'm about 510 miles away too! But actually, I didn't know it was so close! I don't know why I expected it to be on the west coast, but I did. I would soooo relocate to work for EF though. But I don't have much in the way of highly desirable work experience for the corporate positions.

Thank you, Jen I'm glad that you agree with me on the rules, that way I know I'm not too crazy, lol

Honestly I expected EF's HQ to be on the West Coast as well. I think it's mainly because I live on the East Coast (in NC) and it seems like almost all the cool stuff is on the Western Coast of the US (Like the video game company, Blizzard Entertainment's HQ, BlizzCon, and all kinds of stuff.

Synthetik is from New Jersey, so if ever he wanted to take a visit up there, I think I'd see about visiting the EF Headquarters. If they'd allow me in, anyway And I'm with you, I wouldn't mind relocating to work for EF, lol. I just looked it up and I'm 517 miles south-ish of them. I may not have experience in corporate-ness, but I'll be darned if I wouldn't have an arse load of passion and willingness to learn to make up for it lol. Not to mention product experience as well.

Sooooo, *hint, hint* if you all are hiring up there in NJ, you all know where to find me

I'm just kidding, lol

Oh me too! Oh powers-that-be! Hehe I'd seriously be someone's secretary!

And cool! I'm in the same state! I knew there were other southerners here but I thought most of them were from other states! What a pleasant surprise!

I wouldn't mind being just about anything if it meant working for EF, lol, that'd be so great, I think I'd explode from the sheer awesomeness of it all .

Awesome! I live on the Eastern Coast of NC, near the ocean, personally (that's about as close as I'm willing to say when it comes to where I live, lol, can't have the whole internet knowing where I am, lol ) I thought the same thing too, don't feel bad. I thought I'd be the only one from NC, seeing as it's somewhat conservative around here (except for what used to be NC Purgatory*. Good Goddess I wish they still had that in Charlotte! The very year Synthetik told me about it, and we decided that we wanted to go together, they decided to have their Ragnarök event, which was their very last one )

*Take a look at the gallery and the 'about' section, that's where most of the stuff about Purgatory is, I believe

Besides, I live overseas and unfortunately may never get the chance to holiday in US.

Might be interesting - depends on who, where, and of course why.

Might sound funny, but meeting someone you met on a "sex site" could be a bit iffy - that's the reason for the "why". Not interested in a sex meeting.

I'd want to know the "why" as well - doubt I'd meet anyone though. Some kind of an event would be different but not just a one on one thing - I don't have a high trust level.

I think it's a very smart idea to ask why. You never want to set yourself up for an awkward (or unsafe) situation. I would never agree to a meeting where the 'why' would be in question.

But an EF event would be amazing, wouldn't it?!
