Do you blow the whistle or zip your lips?

I like to believe that for things like aggravated sexual assault and pedophilia, I'd take a tire iron to the person's head until I came away with gooey chunks on the end. As for "sex with a teenager who's already gone through puberty", I firmly believe that at the age of sixteen (the age of consent in Canada), a person should be prepared to engage in sexual activity. The age difference often matters (though not in all cases), but I believe with proper sexual education a sixteen-year-old is capable of making decisions of a sexual nature, especially as regards oral sex.

Necrophilia I'm pretty soft on. Zoophilia, less so, but I've made provisions before.

I think this question essentially boils down to "Do you believe the law is always right?" and the answer to that, I'm afraid, has always got to be "No."

I would report some of the major ones, like rape, pedophilia, etc. but for the others it depends on the situation.

I voted other, because I dont believer there is a clear cut right or wrong answer to this. First of all is it hear say that someone is committing these crimes, because if its not true you can quickly ruin a persons life for no good reason.
There are so many other factors that can play into this.
But if you know for a fact someone is hurting a child I feel in some way shape or form it needs to be brought foward.

The only thing that would make me hesitate would be if it was from an "online" source. Honestly, all of these turn my stomach a few times just thinking about doing them...then to top off the nausea, people have commented that they know people that do these sorts of things and seem fine with letting them continue doing them! But, I know people say some really "off" things out in the online world that they don't really mean/do, so I would want to find some sort of "evidence" to take to authorities.

If it was a member of my family...I don't think I would need to call the cops, not to cart them to jail anyway, I have a bit of a "mama bear" mentality there.

For a teenager who hit puberty, as long as its consensual sex, then I would not do anything other than talk to the teenager to be sure she/he is using protection and make sure they are doing it because they want to.. not because they feel pressured or are forced.

As for the rest of them, I'd report them. I wouldn't care if I was anonymous or not. I believe the rest are wrong and to do nothing about it is something I wouldn't be able to do.

Things like rape, animals, etc can be role played by two adults who both consent to the "acting" of the scenario. If someone wants to have sex with an animal, have a person dress up like one.. or have sex with that blow up sheep that I seen a review on here lol.. As for having sex with a dead body... I'm sorry but that to me is disrespectful. I see a few people saying it is "victimless" but like Lauren said, if the family found out, THEY would be the victims. Even if the person has no family, it's just not right imo. We should let the dead rest in peace, not take their corpse and have our way with them. To me, that is basically like rape- non consensual of both parties involved. Why not just have sex with a sex doll. They don't move, make any noises, etc.

As for online vs. real life, I am 100% more likely to report something in real life because like others have said, you need proof. No one will really take you seriously if you try and report a crime you have read about over the Internet.

Depends on the activity. Zoophilia isn't something that I would report, unless it was to extremes (heard of someone who works with zoo animals and have stuck it in almost every animal you can imagine, including dolphins). In terms of pedophelia and whatnot, it would depend on the age difference. If it's something like a pre-teen going out with a sixteen year old or older, then I would report this to the parents. If it's an even larger age gap than that, assuming the child is in their younger teens/preteens or younger, then I would report it. Of course, anything non-consensual I would report.

Necrophelia is just creepy. I would probably cease connection with the person along with reporting them. Also murder/torture. I mean, I've had fantasies about murder before, but no sane person would actually do anything like that, unless they had a really damned good reason to, beyond sexual reasons.

Yes, this. They'd be lucky that I'd turned them in to the police, because there are much, much worse things that can happen to a person.

I'd do it, hands down, no matter what the outcome.

Only exception would be necrophilia, where I knew for a fact, that the deceased person wouldn't mind said person having sex with their corpse.

Necrophilia, I would probably urge them to seek psychological help before reporting them. Rape of children, any sort of rape, torture, or murder, I would absolutely report them if I believed they were actually doing it, or had done it. I would still want to take steps to ensure my own safety, and if they had murdered/tortured someone, I wouldn't want them to know who had turned them in. That is really, really scary. I'd also turn over any proof I had so the authorities would be able to do something about it.

Honestly, I don't care if they are online or in real life. If they are having sex with animals, having sex with deal people, having sex with little children, or whatever... they're going to jail. I've dealt with enough abuse in my life and I'm not letting it happen to others.

Yeah, I hesitated on that one as well. Ultimately I think it does have victims though. Personally? I feel that the body is just, well, a rotting husk once its vital functions have ceased. But, for many other people - especially if in religions where the body has significance in a posthumous sense - the body remaining in tact and in its burial place/position is really important.

I think if I found out someone had defiled a loved one's corpse I would be hurt and it would probably renew my grief temporarily. However, it wouldn't be a big deal in the long run to me. If anything, I'd probably pity the necrophile. I wouldn't feel personally victimized. Others with different beliefs might, though. It's worth considering, at the least.

well, it depends if there's proof available first. if that's available. i'd say something unless it was necrophilia. it's disturbing, but no one really is a victim per se. for pedophilia, i would say something unless "the underaged individual" is over 15. i think at that age, everyone understands what's going on and law enforcement interference isn't necessary

For me it would depend on the activity. Necrophilia and zoophilia I would just talk to the person about stoping. Pedophilia, hebephilia, rape, and extreme torture/murder would be a phone call to the authorities. Ephebophilia, I guess would require some research. Technically, my first 2 boyfriend and my husband were commiting that when they dated me.

I wouldnt report for zoo/necro but sex with minors and rape is definitely something I would.

Ephebophilia is the one that is most difficult to draw a line on imo. Obviously consent on both parts is important, but aside from that it depends on the ages of both partners and psychological development.

anything below zoophilia on that list deserves legal action. necrophilia hurts nobody.

I wouldn't bother with Necrophilia, Zoophilia or ephebophilia. Rape, yes, murdering and torture, yes, the other two forms of pedophilia, yes.

But the first three that I mentioned don't seem like crimes to me unless it's noncon.

Maybe this is me being overly sensitive, but I don't take kindly to any of these, except maybe the teens one as long as they're over the age of consent and totally willing/mutual partners in the act. Rape, pedophilia, necrophilia... I wouldn't even stop to question whether or not I should report them.

Quite a diverse list you have there. Consensual sex with teenagers past puberty is really different from rape and torture in my book. So it would depend entirely on the activity

Necrophilia- What kind of sex? If corpses are just being caressed while someone jacks off, I'd get creeped out, re-examine any business ties, but probably not report it. If corpses are being penetrated or desecrated, I'd cut business ties, encourage psychological help, and report if it does not stop

Zoophilia- What kind of sex? I don't personally approve of zoophilia, but I see a difference between letting an animal fuck/stimulate you (I'd get creeped out, but probably not report it unless it's like a horse or a bear and your life is in danger) and forcibly penetrating an animal (I'd absolutely report it)

Pedophilia- Absolutely report it!

Hebephilia- Absolutely report it!

Ephebophilia- I might talk to the teen to make sure that it's concensual and there is no coercion involved, but otherwise I'd be unlikely to report it

Rape- Absolutely report it!

Extreme torture or murder associated with sex- Absolutely report it!
