I prefer the side closest to the air vent or window. Usually its the left side. My hubby says he has to sleep on the side closest to the door so he can defend me if needed. It works out well for us.

For everything but sleep and sex (we have a studio apartment, so basically everything happens on the bed) I prefer the left side. Sex in the middle, and even though we each have a side of the bed, I usually invade his side for spoonasnuggle time when we sleep.

I don't really have a preferred side - since I moved my bed, it tends to be on the left side, because that's closer to my bookshelf and my video game controller. If my beau is over, then it's the right side, because he likes to spoon, and I have an old injury on my left hip that hurts if I sleep on it.
