My boyfriend and I will have our two year anniversary in July, but we probably won't live together for several more years.

We are currently about 400 miles apart because of school. He's going to graduate before me, but neither of us are entirely sure about where we'll be living for the next couple years. Luckily, we're able to see each other during breaks from school. We'll figure something more permanent out when the time comes.

2 Months.

From the very moment we met, things were hot between us. 2 months after we met, I moved in with him (making for a 90 mile commute to work, for me,each way) and 2 months after that, we got married, and I finally got a transfer to the town we were living. That was 18 years ago.

We were together pretty much every day since we started dating, but we had a history together too. We moved in together probably about six months after officially dating each other.

A little over 2 years. We were long distance and I finally moved so we could be together. We probably would have done the same if we'd been in the same place though. We both like our space and wanted to be really sure we were compatible.

I've never moved in with anyone yet. I probably won't until I'm married or at least engaged. I've been dating my guy for almost a year and I am definitely not ready to move in yet.

My boyfriend and I are going to wait until at least 2 years. It's been just under a year together now, and we feel that there's no reason to rush into it yet, we have lots of future time and we both like our own space.

Extenuating circumstances had us moved in together after 5 months. It was a finances thing on both our parts, on top of the fact that I was over at his place nearly every day, all the time. My poor cat felt lonely without me and dealt with a lot of alone time

In an "ideal world," we both admitted that we wished we could have waited until 6 months at least.
But we've been living together now for 4 months and things are going swimmingly.
I was getting cold feet right at the last minute, which was weird for me, but then I realized that everyone's relationships are different and not everything goes on a perfect cookie-cutter timeline.

About a month into our relationship we started staying over at each others apts. We traded of from hers to mine for about a six months, then we got our own place together.

Still waiting here. I'm hoping for med school I can move to his town and live with him. I'd at least want to be close enough to see each other weekends.

My current boyfriend is the only one I've ever lived with. I for all practical purposes was living with him after a month (I went back to my apartment for clothes and more and more of my kitchen gear every couple of days), and we stayed at my place on weekends. After my lease was up (between 5-6 months of our relationship), I brought the rest of my kitchen supplies and books and started paying my share of rent.

I would have felt funny moving in so soon (just 5.5 months!?), except that it felt like I'd already been living there. Strange thing, chemistry.

We waited about 8 or 9 months before we got our own place. By that point I was practical living with him anyway, so it was just the logical thing to do.

It's really varied with me.

Sometimes it was as little as a week, others never. We only did it when it made sense or was a matter of necessity.

I can't wait to live with Cyn full time, but we're going to have to wait on that.

We waited 5 or 6 years. But, I was only 15 or 16 when I met him. Too young to be in a serious relationship then and certainly too young to move in with a man. We waited until I was almost done with college, I lived with him on weekends until I graduated, then moved in with him after a few months.

The thing is, he didn't tell his parents I was moving in. They are VERY conservative uneducated people. He was, however, a grown man. His mother freaked out. She actually insinuated (well, said) that I "didn't deserve" a wedding shower, or a wedding party at all "since you've already been on the honeymoon." WTF? I assured her that living with her son was no honeymoon.

I spent weekends with past boyfriends, but we never lived together. With my husband, we started living together pretty much as soon as we got back together in January of '09.

We waited until we were married. We met online and had a long distance relationship the entire time. From meeting til marriage 3.5 years. REALLY...huh feels like it was longer than that..

We moved in together after 7 months, but it was really only for my convenience. I was living abroad and my lease was up, but I was moving back to the states in 4 months so I was struggling to find a place that would give me a 4 month lease. I don't think I would have moved in with him so soon if there weren't extenuating circumstances.

Similar. My SO and I started going out a little over 4 months ago, but only started our committed relationship less than 2 months ago and she just moved in with me.

My partner & I will have been together for 5 years this month and we still don't live together. It's been really important to me that we are married first and we're holding off on marrying until I've finished school. We have been making plans and looking around at houses and trying to figure out what we where we want to live and all that stuff. But for now, school comes first.

I met my boyfriend when i was 14 (im now 21) we did the long distance thing..
but we was together 4 years before i moved in with him and his family. I might have done it sooner if it wasnt or the age thing.

we lived with his parents for about 3 years and this past year we finally got our own place. (i was 21 he 22) and hes the love of my life, its been the best thing i've ever done. living on our own is WAY different from living with his family.
