I keep some to myself. My hubby is a talker, and when I tell him things like that, he's really like a 14 year old that can't contain himself. He wants to talk about it and discuss it and giggle about it, and quite frankly, it annoys the heck out of me sometimes. So I mostly just let my imagination stay in my imagination!

I'm in the same boat you were, from the sounds of it.

As for the original question, I'm both embarrassed AND afraid. While my fantasies don't involve Dan Savage's "four fetishes it's acceptable to refuse to even try out in a long term relationship," they are still extremely taboo.

Some things I feel might be better off stewing in the back of my brain. Like how I get really, really turned on when I watch Clockwork Orange.

I try to share with him the stuff I'd like us to eventually try, just to get him used to the idea. But there's really a limit to how much I can say because a lot of the stuff I'm into is a turn off for him, so expressing it to him can end up spoiling the fantasy for me for a time. He's very much more vanilla than I am and my sexual fantasies (although I'm sure are pretty common submissive fantasies) are getting increasingly more complex and kinky. If my fantasy was extreme enough that I don't think I'd ever want to carry it out I definitely wouldn't share anything about it with him, he'd probably freak out and think I was going to get him to do it.
