Our bed is on an old, metal frame and damn, it makes too much noise. We have several children, some teens, and I'd like to NOT announce that we're doing it with the squeaking every time!
Would a platform bed frame work for this? Suggestions? I don't really want to just put the mattress and boxspring on the floor--too low. But I'd be willing to build something if it does not make noise!!! LOL
