By the time I was in my early 30s, I had almost given up on the idea of getting married. It seemed that after I stopped looking - I found what I was looking for and have been happily married since 35 (almost 24 years now).
However - even before I married, I was in a series of mostly satisfying relationships. I need the comfort of someone to share time with - as opposed to dating all the time. Dating takes too much time, energy and $s.

Definitely true, been single now for two years & I hated it at first. Now I'm kind of like "eh, I don't really care anymore!"
