How do you feel when another person does not find an item you really liked as satisfying--after you either recommended it to them or based on your review?

Contributor: js250 js250
I tend to feel pretty bad, as if I misled them--even though I loved the item. It makes me feel like I should be more objective, but that is pretty hard to do after loving something so much.

I find it much easier to tell people I did not like an item for x reasons and then when it works for them--it doesn't bother me. I am actually glad it worked for them. Pretty silly--but true!

No, dont feel silly, I feel the exact same way! I start to doubt my judgment for a minute, but then I think about enjoying the toy and it gets a little easier to let go of it. We are all just so different!

Doesn't bother me, people's opinions differ.

We all have such different tastes and bodies! It's not different than me loving the design of something and someone hating it. I haven't had this experience with this site, but I have with other things. I can't speak for everyone but reviews I have read seem like the reviewers honest opinion. I would never be mad at someone for writing an honest review about a product they love. Even if I got it based on their review and hated it, I understand we're all different.

Hey, we write reviews and we know what we like, just because someone doesn't like something we do that is not our fault! I have reviewers that I follow and we have the same opinion on alot of things but not all of them and I don't hold any responsible but myself.

Doesn't bother me at all. I really liked Sliquid and recommended it to my Mom, but it turned out she didn't like it. Not a big deal.

I will feel a little guilty for recommending the toys to them, but I'll get over it after a while, since everyone does have their own needs and different anatomies.

It's a bit sad, but, everyones body is different, it's really hard to tell what is going to work well for someone else.

I feel bad that they wasted their points/money. But, I give honest reviews the best I can but we are all different.

After reading all the rave review for the Uma - I bought one and we are not at all impressed. It's not the fault of those other reviewers. I give the credit for being honest. I'm sure it has happened for people buying products based on my reviews - but I don't feel bad - I gave an honest appraisal.

As long as you're completely honest in your reviews, you shouldn't feel bad. Like others have said, you may love a product and another person hates it (and vice versa).

I would feel bad but we all have different tastes. It took me a while to find exactly what I like and I know that just because I like something, doesn't mean everyone will.

I always feel bad, especially if they bought it because I recommended it. It's kind of like if you recommend a restaurant and they don't like it, I always feel guilty.

I feel bad when that happens. Like I failed them.
