A Question about the Editing of Reviews

Contributor: Breas Breas
Hey everyone,

I was wondering if someone could answer this question for me as I am not an editor so I don't know how the process works..

If you submit a review that was either sponsored by EF or a manufacturer, is there a different process that happens once you submit it? Does a different group of editors edit these, or does it have to be approved by EF or the manufacturer first?

The reason I ask is because I have done 4 reviews so far, all of products I have purchased/own already. These reviews went up SUPER quick. I have an EF sponsored review that I just wrote and submitted (yesterday) and I do not think it has even been assigned to an editor yet. I don't mind waiting, but was just curious if there was a difference between the two.

Thanks!

I see your review on the Editor Task Market and there are several ahead of it currently. The work load for editors is extremely variable. Some days there are no reviews available, others a massive influx creates a backlog.

I believe all reviews from reviewers ranked 5.5 or lower go through the editor program except for Descriptive Reviews. Descriptive Reviews go through Admin for approval before posting.

Oh alright! So I guess the other days I had submitted reviews there must have just been less of a load to do then thanks very much for the quick reply!
