Can two people in the same household review products for EF?

Contributor: ♥ Amanda ♥ ♥ Amanda ♥
I have been reviewing for EF for a little while now. Coming up on a year soon I believe. My partner and I have enjoyed experimenting with many different selections as well. Now he wants to put his two cents in also. I took a look through the guidelines, but did not find an answer. Can he and I both review for EF on our own separate account/profile?

I don't see why they can't. That would be a little unfair I think. There are quite a few couples on eden. Currently my partner does, but on a much smaller scale than I do. He wanted to do it so he had complete control over what was picked sometimes lol. My last partner just put his two cents into my reviews and my current one did that at first too.

When I first found ef I wasn't a reviewer and had a different account. When I became a reviewer I had forgotten I had one already and made a new one. I just had my bf take over the other one because I couldn't figure out how the heck to delete it once I remembered it. We both live in separate apartments right now, but move in together Friday. the only problem I can foresee is IP addresses possibly being confusing to staff. I think this has been an issue from using the same internet in our apartments.

I would welcome him to!

There are plenty of couples and roommates that do reviews on EF. As long as it's a valid, individual review, then it's totally allowed. Some couples, however, choose to share an account and have a section for His and Her Opinions on reviews for toys they use together. It's up to you!

I think there should be some restrictions, like I don't think it's fair that there be a couple who both have all their reviews of the same things with separate accounts, but otherwise I think it's a great idea and as long as the accounts are legit like Miss Cinnamon says there shouldn't be a problem

Welcome! It has been a lot of fun to do it with him too. And the surprises for what he picks are cute too. He always gets so excited and refuses to let them be delivered to my apartment.

I was wondering the same. My husband has been seeing all the fun I have been having. So he joined up too

The official answer is: Yes. each reviewer should use their own perspective. We certainly don't want a bunch of reviews on the same products that all sound the same. So, no matter whether you live together or not, be yourself, give your individual and honest feedback. That's all we ask.
