Can you link to a past review within a new review?

I am reviewing an attachment for a vibrator I have already reviewed, and in the review I mention how much I love the vibrator. It seems to make sense to link to the vibrator review. Would it be okay to link to my previous review in case someone wants to check it out? Not sure what the protocol is on that.

Thanks!

IDK the protocol either, but I've done it at least once, there was no comment by the editor.

I've done it, and you can too. The big thing is that you don't use an affiliate link while linking to another review. If it's just a regular link you're perfectly fine as far as I know, especially if it's in the experience section. The only other time I can think of where it might not be ok in the body of the review is if it were a Descriptive Review, but even with those I think you can still put them in the experience section.

I think if it's RELEVANT, you'll be okay. Like, if you're saying, "This is an attachment for the *hitachi wand*" and you link to your Hitachi Wand review, it's okay, but if you're like "read more of my reviews *here* and *here* and *here*" that's not so okay.

Thanks so much guys!

It's pretty much what DeliciousSurprise said - I was reviewing an attachment, and linked to my review when I said "I love my Eroscillator." I thought it made more sense to link it than not. I appreciate all your responses!

Sam - I don't know what an affiliate link is? It was just a normal Eden link to a previous review I had written on the site.

By affiliate link I mean one with your affiliate code in it. Like .com/#pcode-XXX. Something that if I clicked on it and then made a purchase, you'd get commission off of. I was more throwing that out there as something to keep in mind, not necessarily thinking that you were going to do it.

Also, you can add related products in reviews now, which I find super handy

I did it for a product that I got (it was an anal toy) and it was WAY too big for me. So I shared the information I had about the product, and linked to another review that had a good experience in it, as I was not able to give one.

I think it's OK.

I've done it to refer to a similar toy, toys that are different in some way or toys that can be used with the toy being reviewed. I NEVER use my affiliate link for anything like this, however, nor do I put it on my "motto" under my name.

It helps people relate to toys they may already have, or have read about. I think it is helpful, in fact, if it's similar, I like when people link to something I am familiar with.
