Which would you recommend to someone trying to find their g spot? My roommate wants her first toy for Christmas and she mentioned a while back that she doesn't think she has a g spot. Which would you recommend?

I haven't had a chance to try the Comet G yet, but it looks to me like it would be equal to the Pure Wand in performance - so I guess it depends on whether you'd rather have something made of steel or something made of glass and silicone.

The Pure Wand is great - the weight is part of why it works so well. there are glass copies - but they are lighter and more expensive - We'll stay with the Pure Wand.

I love my pure wand and I really wonder about the comet G. The silicone is going to have a lot more give than the solid metal.

I haven't tried my Comet yet, but the curve is almost identical to the Pure Wand. It's a lot lighter in the weight department and since the weight of the Pure Wand has always been an issue for me, I would lean toward the Comet. Of course, that's pending my use of the Comet.

The Pure Wand has a great reputation and I'd go with that just because I haven't tried the Comet and I haven't heard much about it from others.

I'd buy her a cheaper glass toy like Serenity as it has a similar curve to it. Allow her to try that before you pick her up one of these more expensive ones. I say this because she might have an anatomy like me and if she does neither of these toys will work for her and cause her great pain. Not everyone loves the Pure Wand.

I second Beck's suggestion of the glass Serenity. However, if you really want to go the route of those two up there, my vote is for the Pure Wand. It's heavier and more expensive, BUT it has two usable ends which the Comet doesn't have...plus the ends are different sized, which is good for those who want something smaller (the Comet only has the one sized ball which is rather large and comparable to the Pure Wand's larger head - which some people don't like or find too large).
But again, perhaps the Serenity would be a better choice for a newbie because the Pure Wand definitely has a bit of a learning curve to it.

But isnt the comet g all glass that has been coated in silicone? it would still be pretty firm then.

I'd go with cheaper. There's always the chance that a woman doesn't have a reponsive g-spot. I'd hate to say "get this super expensive toy" but she regretted the purchased. In fact, I'd probably go with something even cheaper if she's just experimenting.

The Pure Wand is fantastic, and makes it very easy to find the g-spot and apply pressure. It's harder to pinpoint previously unexplored spots with a vibrator.
