For whatever reason I prefer the flesh tones. My girl and I have a Vixskin goodfella in both Vanilla and Purple... and I can't help but see Barney when I look at Purple Goodfella... and to me that's just weird.

I used to feel very creeped out by realistically colored toys and refused to give them more than a passing glance. I would imagine owning one to be like, "Dude, what crazy guy hacked off his penis and left it in my room?!"
That feeling, while hilarious, has gone away. Now, while I usually go for fun colors (mostly blues, purples, and light pinks), I think realistic is pretty cool, too.

I really like flesh-colored toys, actually, but I also like other colors. Honestly, as long as it's not a color that turns me off immediately, like burnt orange or maroon or something, I don't mind the color. It's not like I can see it while it's in me, haha.

Realistic tones/shapes . . . kinda creep me out.
On the other hand, I haven't had a WHOLE lot of experience with the real thing, sooo . . . maybe I'd start to like fleshtoned toys more once I'd been in a longterm relationship with a guy?

My biggest concern about flesh-colored toys is that puppy would get hold of it and take its somewhere and I'd never find it. A purple or pink toy would be much easier to see.
Honestly, from what I've seen on the screen - I think that the Vixskin ones look gorgeous....I would love to have one of them.

I'm not really into flesh-colored, or realistic dildos, but I seriously think I'm going to have to get a Vixskin toy one of these days. Generally, I prefer fun colors though.

If this poll had an "other" option, that would be my selection. I like flesh tones and I like different colors- it's not an either/or. I mostly buy black toys with the odd flesh tone thrown in.

Was very adamant about trying my bloody best to stay clear of flesh toned dildos just a year or so ago. But then came the new Tantus O2 and fresh batch of VixSkin toys... I still prefer the fantastical, but will gladly go for something more down to earth.

It really depends. I really am not a fan of funky colored toys that are realistic in shape. Other than that, I absolutely want my toys to be fun colors! If a dildo is realistic, I prefer it to be flesh toned. And tan, but that's just a perfonsal preference...the really pale ones weird me out a bit. LOL

I like flesh colored toys when it comes to realistic toys - think of Vixen Creation's Johnny, for example.
When it comes to other, non-realistic toys though, like standard vibrators or rabbit vibrators... I think I'd get really weirded out!

For me it is just what I'm feeling at any given moment and if I'm playing with Hubby or just myself. I perfered to use ones that are not flesh colored with Hubby because it's a whole different world and I figured he needed to get used to them without being threatened by them. Now that he's more used to play time with toys I can enjoy some of the flesh colored toys I have. By myself it's pretty much whatever I feel like - I'm usually looking for texture, vibration or size though not so much color.
