The Boss isn't Dual Density silicone, so it doesn't have the firm outer core with the soft outer layer. It is a firm dildo all the way through. The dual density dildos that are made to feel realistic are Tantus O2 toys, and Vixen Creations Vixskin. I would think the Johnny Vixskin would feel more realistic, and I think it looks more realistic as well.

We don't have the Boss -but my wife says the Vixskin Johnny is the most realistic thing she has ever felt - and that includes after 15+ years of playing with a wide range of toys.

Never had the Tantus Boss, but had the equivalently sized/shaped Tantus VIP Super Soft. The only difference being that Boss is a much firmer silicone.
The VIP Super Soft, despite being the softer silicone, still doesn't have a realistic texture, and the shape isn't realistic either.
I have the Vixskin Johnny, and it is much more realistic in both shape and texture.
