I've never heard of a wooden dildo before. Are they safe?

Wood dildos are hand carved and sealed. You may use them without any fear of breaking or splintering.
I have the Smooth S shape dildo and I adore it!

Yup, they're completely safe! The only thing to consider about wood, as opposed to silicone, is that it is firm and doesn't have much give, so be careful (especially if using it anally).

May I suggest a NobEssence wooden sculpture? They are beautiful, handcrafted from sustainable wood, and feel fantastic.

I recently purchased a NobEssence Fling and have to agree with Snappy. They're amazing.

They are safe. the finish should be a food safe finish, meaning it can come in contact with food. They are natural finish's that are safe to eat, or safe after they cure. I am not sure what type they use on the dildo, but it is approved for use and is safe.

I know that the guy who makes the Hardwood Dildos brand uses Salad Bowl Finish. link It's a food safe oil-based varnish. In my experience it hasn't needed re-oiling or anything exciting... but I'd avoid submerging it.

I know NobEssence uses something 'secret' though, to fully seal their products.

Otherwise, wood is amazing! I love the hardness of it, just not the water unfriendliness of it.

And a properly sealed wood dildo will NEVER, NEVER splinter, so you have nothing to fear. Just like you can wash a wood cutting board or salad bowl many times and never see a splinter (just warpage if you soak them!), likewise, you will never see a splinter from a well-sealed wood toy. There is something so unique about wood, really... your orifices will thank you for the treat!

They are safe, and you wont find any splinters poking your ready to stab you! They are nicely sealed and easy to wash. Only issue for me is that I don't like them. They are too light as if nothing is inside of me. I like to feel full, which is why i prefer glass

I'm very curious about what NobEssence uses. I've got my eye on one of their toys, and I know whatever they seal it with would be inside my body, so hopefully it's safe!
