Just a curiosity; after looking at the section "raunchy underwear" in the men's section one might et the idea that thongs and mesh are hot. Is this true or am I correct in thinking that this type of underwear is more for a good laugh but not truely 'sexy'?

I love seeing men in thongs. They don't have the guts very often, and my husband won't wear his to the gym. He has a couple pairs that I bought - they aren't the thin strap type thong that I wear, but you can see his ass nicely. They are much better than a lot of the underwear that he has. He knows it. I've thrown out all of his white underwear.
Usually he wears the colored bikinis though.

Boxerbriefs are perhaps the sexiest underwear ever created. Not only do they hug the junk the way briefs do but they cut across the line and shape the butt in the nicest possible way. When my husband buys a new pair I always end up wanting to take them off with my teeth. Fucking hot as all hell.

I can't speak for my wife, but I do like the look of either the bikinis or the boxer briefs when I look at myself in the mirror.
The only thing I know for certain about my wife's taste is that it doesn't include thongs. We were looking at underwear together and she vetoed them immediately.
She seemed OK with the boxer briefs and the bikinis, though.

Personally, I don't like the look of briefs or thongs on a man. Thongs are just a little too feminine for me, and briefs just give me this mental reminder of running into my daddy in the middle of the night when he'd get up for a bathroom break, wearing just his tighty-whiteys. *shudders*

I have a pair of black silk boxers that are very comfortable and my wife likes the way they look. I used to own some thongs but they were more of a gag than sexy. Also, I only wear the silk boxers when we are planning on having sex so just wearing them now helps me anticipate our encounter.

I love boxer briefs, but I've also witnessed thongs (and g-strings) on a guy up close and personal and I must admit, while skeptical at first, it was damn hot. But I like men a little feminine (hope that doesn't come off as insulting, it's just a preference), and maybe that's why the more feminine-cut undies look good on them to me. ^_^

I used to be a boxers guy, but since my bf introduced me to designer undies..boxerbriefs are the biggest i wear, also go for briefs and boyshort style undies. Someimes a thong. one of my favorite websites =)
As for the original question in this thread. I dont think fishnet is generally all too sexy, its very airy but can end up pinching. mesh i do like. the smaller holes conceal more than the fishnet, adding a bit more cover so everything is more outlined than in your face.

men in thongs weird me out. I'm not a big thong person to begin with. Mesh and fish net are worse to me. Unless a guy is well shaved it looks like a hair net! Plus it just looks ackward to me. I love my husbands silk boxers. I think they are sexy. Tighty whities are out lawed in our home. Can't stand them and neither can hubby. I wish I could get him to were boxer briefs, they ARE sexy. But sadly I have to settle at silk boxers.

My b/f was always reminded by his mother to always have clean wear clean underwear in case he had to go to the ER. My b/f says he would be so embarrassed if he was ever caught wearing thongs or provocative underwear. Anyway, I (and he) prefer boxers anyway...added bonus is quick access and I can see his aroused state.

I'm thinking of surprising my wife one day - maybe a thong, maybe some nice boxer-briefs. I had a packet of boxer briefs once, and what I noticed was that they looked good when you put them on, but after a short while the material stretches out and gets saggy and very unsexy. I want something that'll show me off. Anyone else had this problem with boxer-briefs? Should I just get the thong? I think I'll shave/trim, too.

FOr how strongly I urge my girlfriend to get sexy lingerie she has never shown any interest in what underwear I have on. She does love it when I wear dark tighter fitting jeans. She is so timid and never does any PDA but when have those jeans she always sneaks in a quick grab But if she ever showed interest I would wear anything for her. Depending on the moment I may be willing to try some light cross dressing but thats exactly why she probably isn't into it, she likes mountain men; men with beards and smell of pine.
