I have a bottle of System JO H2O Anal and after my most recent vacation a part of the inside of the cap seems to be just broken enough for it to leak. I'm trying to decide if I just want to replace it or repackage it into a new bottle. I thought I'd take the opportunity to look at new lubes. I'm looking for something for anal and something for other types of play, hopefully one with as few nasty chemicals as possible that isn't going to damage most toys (silicone and composites, elastomer, and yes, jelly to be specific). What are your favorites for each different kind of play? Or your main stay? I've used a lot of the System JO formulas before and I'm wondering how people who have tried several others like them or if there is something that shows them up for whatever reason.

I use Maximus for everything. Works so well and it avoids having to make a lube decision in the heat of play.

Honestly depends on what your doing and with what =) for anal, i prefer to use Pjur Back Door/ Analyze Me silicone lubricants *i put both because they're the same. Back Door seems to work a little better though* They dont numb, but relax muscles. i like feeling everything going on back there =3 um, if you're with partner, that's what i'd suggest, the same with toys, unless using silicone toy. If using a silicone toy, they do make the muscle relaxant in a spray form so you can apply that first then reach for a good waterbased. before moving to water based, if you're looking for a lubricant that you can use in multiple areas, i'd say go with one of Pjur's original or light love lubes, and get the Analyze Me spray just for when doing anal. With water based lubes, I really like Sliquid. I've been using their waterbased Ride formula because it's really thick, so it stays where i want it to. It's the same thing as their Sassy formula. their regular H2O formula is good as well but a little too thin for me. the good thing about Sliquid is they use plant cellulose as a thickener so it doesn't get sticky. they are a completely vegan company, no animal anything in their products =)
