I was recently introduced to Pjur Basic Silicone lube and although it sucks that I can't use it with all of my toys it's one of the best I've ever used. I'm curious as to which kind is your favourite to use?

Water based because we usually use toys before sex and switching up lubes is a pain. Also water washes off easier.

Love silicone. A lot smoother and lasts longer. But I find it is too bad that I cannot use it with silicone toys as well. Oh well

The only time we need lube for intercourse is for anal sex, and I prefer silicone lube for that.

We almost always have toys in use and so we stick with water based lubes 99% if the time for vaginal sex. For anal play we use water based gel. Once in "blue moon", if we are not using toys we might grab the silicone lube, but really, the only place we keep it is in the bathroom, since if we start with anal in the shower (often a good place to start...wash and play), then we use silicone lube under the running water, to keep more slick.

I tried a "safe for toys" silicone lube once...and it melted my toys (granted, they were all Jelly at that time), but I would be scared to try that experiment again.
