Definitely foreplay for us. I REALLY enjoy massages as foreplay, either giving or receiving, because they're relaxing and definitely sexy.. they also seem to extend sexual play for us because after the massage comes the "actual" foreplay.. We do them before we go to bed or at a stressful moment. They aren't foreplay, though, so my answer really qualifies as other.

Both. We have been totally getting into burning the Afterglow candles by JimmyJane while we make love in the morning, and then giving each other massages as the sun comes up. I prefer receiving massage as a precursor to sex...I've found that if I ask for one after we've done the deed, my lover is usually pretty tired out and his efforts are a bit...half-assed. He occasionally likes to have his back scratched when we're through tho. Or even during. Ahem.
