My husband has a problem with me having a toy, he gets mad, so I have to hide them from him. Why would he get mad and how do I convince him its ok?

He probably feels insecure or thinks that you think he doesn't satisfy you in some way.

Just talk to him about it. Sit him down and ask him these questions.

I would talk to him about it and encourage him to play with you and the toys, that might help him become more comfortable with it.

Probably like everyone else noted, insecurity. I love watching my wife use toys. She knows herself best, and watching her is the biggest turn on. If she stopped wanting sex, but used her toys when she was alone, I'd become concerned, but just wanting to use toys and masturbate shouldn't have to be a secret.

My husband was the same way. I introducted toys when we were dating for 3 years. (We've been together since high school). I basically figured, well, if I buy a toy for the both of us, maybe he'll like it. I bought a vibrator that could be used for perineum massage (right underneath the scrotum, near the anus) and I gave him his first "private massage". After that I slowly brought more home, and after a while he didn't care.

He told me he was honestly scared that the toys would replace him and sex would be less enjoyable. You have to let him know that's not true. hiding your toys is not a good thing to do hun. That's basically lying That will make him more mad. Try getting him to use them with you.

I find it hard to relate to this.....

I have bought my wife numerous toys to enjoy with me or by herself.

I find it incredibly sexy when she will use one while I watch. I feel the same way when I use them to pleasure her.

Whenever possible I will help her find time to play with them on her own. Learning what feels best to her allows her to experience as much pleasure as possible together!

I find it very titillating to find out which toy she used and the results.

He is probably just insecure and feels that he should be the only one or thing that satisfies you. Maybe try to incorporate him into your toy sessions, let him use them on you.

This is a very old post, but my husband and I have an agreement that I don't get any phallic looking toys. He's not comfy with the whole idea of sex toys either, very insecure and thinks nothing but his cock should be inserted in me.
