Has anyone had a vasovasectomy or reversible because of the autoimmune reaction of the body to the sperm?

No it may not be, there is a risk of granuloma after vasectomy because the body sees sperm as an invader and wants to isolate it. It happens within a large % of post vas patients, but causes pain in I believe 15% or so.

No, sounds painful though. My husband had one 4 years ago and was fine.

I looked into getting a reversal because of the pain and swelling at times but insurance didn't want to cover it. I did have two small granulomas in my sac afterward but they are not bothering me as much as the internal scar tissue on the tubes where they were cut. Overall, the symptoms have subsided to the point of being manageable but I definitely had some second-thoughts about the procedure for at least two years.
