Overwhelming emotional orgasms?

Contributor: Ajax Ajax
I've only had it happen a few times and I try to hide it because it freaks the boyfriend out a bit :p He just won't believe me that something isn't wrong when it happens so it's easier for me to just curl into his side and cover my head a little.

I think that crying from pain/discomfort/someth ing negative, then yes it will affect the guy.

But if you're crying from the amazing power your orgasms have over you, then thats a major ego booster' atleast that's what I would think.

I have cried once, for negative reasons (very bad effect) I also once cried bcs the momment of love making was so beautiful it brought tears to my eyes (I stopped quickly bcs I was afraid it would weird out my boyfriend) but when I am on the verge of squirting I sometimes tear up bcs the intensity is too much to bear. I don't cry or bawl. Haven't gotten their yet.

I'm not really a crier, but I do laugh almost uncontrollably when I reach my deepest orgasms. I am extremely ticklish to the point of not even needing to be touched to bring on laughter and I've always wondered if that might be why I react that way once all the sensitivity of orgasm sets in. Personally, I wouldn't have it any other way. I love it.

I only cried once because we were having sex and I was so upset with him and stressed and I just put my head down and started tearing. Im pretty sure he wasnt happy about that.

Yes. I've cried after (and probably during) sex that has been very meaningful or cathartic for me.

I also tend to laugh and become ridiculously happy after a really intense orgasm.

I really wasn't sure where my vote would fit, but I really don't think you should listen to the person who said you should never cry! You can't help it. I totally know the overwhelming ten million emotions at once! Just last week I had one similar to that, but didn't actually cry. I almost did and have had O's so intense that it just seems to trigger something or so many things all at once & I have felt like I was about to! Years ago (with an ex) we had sex & I cried afterward, but it was more like the teenage, hormones mixed with all that so called love and it too can be overwhelming, but an O can be just as powerful. It's normal and I have heard a lot of women say it happens from time to time.

Seriously, if a man's poor wittle ego is so sensitive that it bruises when you cry even during sex or after whatever, then it's time to grow up. I really don't mean for that to sound as harsh as it does, but really? Nobody's going to actually cry because of bad sex so surely they wouldn't be so sensitive to automatically assume you're crying because it's bad. My partner would be afriad he hurt me if I cried, but he wouldn't have a bruised ego if I did cry and told him why. He'd probably feel good to know that he can create such a powerful sensation! I don't think it's anything to worry over. If a dude can't handle a little tears, then maybe he can't handle sex. I can see how it would concern him if he thought he may have done something that caused you pain during sex and that was the reason for the tear shed, but if you tell him why I really couldn't see why he wouldn't understand.

I have cried and/or laughed uncontrollably after really intense orgasms, never cried before (unless in a fight), and never cried during. Its totally involuntary when I do laugh or cry.

i'll tear up but it's not really emotional, it's more like a physical response. if you cry, communicate with your partner that it's your response to the orgasm, not anything else. i don't agree with your friend that women shouldn't cry; it's suppressing a natural reaction that you have, which should always be welcomed.

I've definitely had super intense orgasms that make me cry. They aren't too frequent, but man when they happen it feels like my head is going to explode!

As a guy, if my wife had an orgasm that intense I would be both thrilled for her and proud that I had been able to help in some way with her cumming that hard. He will be thrilled as long as he knows that is why it is happening.

I almost always start crying when I orgasm, but I don't think it's emotional, but rather, hormonal. I don't -feel- emotional at the time, I just cry.

I didn't vote as my option wasn't there.

I have cried on occasion after sex, but it was beautiful love making and I think I cried because I felt so emotionally bonded and knew I was so bonded with my hubby at that moment.

He just held me.
