Many moons ago, when my big brother was in high school and would bring lady friends home, I learned that it's not hard to hear through our bedroom doors. Don't worry, I'm not one to eavesdrop. Turned around and went the other way as soon as I realized it.
But after that, I learned how to stay pretty quiet. Sometimes it can be too hard to keep it down when using toys, so I'm a little more cautious about who's around in that case, or use them in the shower. I had a roommate (male) who liked to bring girls over and have obnoxiously loud sex when I was home and could hear. I learned to do laundry or turn on a movie or music or something when that was going on, but I was woken up by it or otherwise annoyed by it a few times so I retaliated once or twice. He learned that I'm partial to a pretty severe spanking session once in a while and I think it kinda creeped him out because he started asking what my plans were before bringing someone over and being much more respectful. Depending on the place though. If it's strangers around, then I'm all up for noise. If it's a family house or my roommates are about I tend to be VERY quiet.
I have heard them and it doesn't insult me in the least. I feel happy for them, a little embarrassed to hear it and a kind of turned on to be honest >__<

It's all kind of moot - I'm a gasper, not a screamer, so even at my loudest you can usually only hear me if you're on the same floor.

I'm an extremely private person and I live in a real crap appartment when it comes to sound proofing. The last time someone lives below us this guy would pound on the walls evertime my daughter would say drop something or walk fast.
