I love dildos the best, both mostly realistic (fully realistic toys with colored veins and such are a bit too much) and non-realistic. Silicone is my favorite material for these, though I like glass, too - I just tend to lose a little muscle control when playing, so glass isn't the wisest choice for me in most cases.

Clitoral vibes are my second-favorite kind of toy, preferably made of silicone and/or plastic. I also have a soft spot for traditional vibes, since they're where I started and have a certain degree of versatility.

I've got glass, 316 stainless, realistic and non realistic silicone, and high quality elastomer. They're each so different, and I love them all.

I'm assuming you mean strictly penetrative type toys, because otherwise that list would also include leather, hemp, silk, linen, wood, rubber, duct tape, and a whole host of other delightful things.

For me, materials almost always have to be the safest. I like silicone and stainless steel the most, and I suspect that I would love glass too, but I've not tried it. I will use plastic if it's something really interesting, too. (Speaking of interesting, wood seems so natural and warm, doesn't it?)

When it comes down to the toy style, I like non-realistic dildos (just got my Fun Factory Tiger, yay!) and anal plugs. Going back to materials, I general like my dildos to be silicone, and my plugs to be stainless.

I'm finicky, huh?

I love non-realistic silicone dildos. I use clit vibes more often (convenience, quickies), but I like my silicone dildos more.

And Kira, I think there'd be more love for wood if it were more affordable. Trying wood is a hell of an investment, especially if you're looking at NobEssence.

I like realistic toys because they are fun to me, I like some non realistic toys as well. it just depends on my mood at the time. As long as I am not allergic to it I dont have a specific preference on material.
