I've never thought about it. The inner parts are obviously self-moisturizing, and the exterior never really gets dry.

I didn't used to, but now that I'm shaving I always use lotion afterwards to try and keep ingrown hairs to a minimum.

Perhaps not quite what the question was asking, but one side of my labia is just large enough that it sometimes abrades against my panties and dries out. I use a water-based lube to help moisten it up when that happens, usually either Sliquid H2O or LELO's lube.

I use unsented lotion after shaving to keep from getting ingrown hairs. The only thing is that you have to let it dry before putting pants on or else it feels awkward.

I think moisturize, and I think about doing it to soften everything up. hehe, it kind of threw me for a loop, but reading the replies it seems like it's commonly done after shaving. That I can understand! I said no, but if I think I might be risking some razor burn, I have used some to prevent that.

I don't use lotion, because I don't like getting glycerine and other vagina-hatin' ingredients down there. I use virgin coconut oil when my parts are irritated from shaving.
