Have you ever gone to a strip club?

Hubby used to DJ at a strip club before our son was born so we spent a lot of time there together. I got the awesome job of helping the rundown strippers get their tops done back up.

I've never been to one, but I'd like to someday. Preferably with a group of friends - I'd be too shy to go by myself!

Though I've heard that clubs with male dancers tend to have a more "wild" atmosphere - I'd prefer to find one that was more subdued, if that's at all possible.

There is this really good male strip club in phoenix that I used to go to with my gay best friend. We loved it. We even had a membership. LOL.

I've been to two strip clubs, once each. One in Montreal, and one in Massachusetts. I was a bit uncomfortable both times. In Montreal, He was just 18 and I was 21. I felt so awful, because my boyfriend (at the time) was paying so much attention to the lap dance at the table next to us that the dancer was giving us dirty looks. I offered to buy him a lap dance, and he declined, but the next time there was one going on near us, the same thing happened. I decided it was time to go after that.
At the other club, it was totally dead, and I was in there with a lesbian friend of mine...kind of on a date...but kind of not. One of the dancers came and chatted us up, and she was so excited that there were women in there that she wanted to give us a "special" dance... for free. She then proceeded to somehow contort herself over a chair so all we could see was her pussy. Neither my friend nor I had enough money to actually tip her if we were gonna have another drink, so we asked her to stop almost immediately. She just kept on dancing, and said "no, really, it's totally free, I love dancing for ladies". I was so embarrassed that I ended up giving her what we would have used for our next round, and a few rounds of Skee-Ball and Air Hockey, and we left, thanking her profusely for the "free" dance I'd asked her to stop doing. I know that at least in that establishment, the dancers have to pay to even be there. I wish I'd had more cash on me.

I was taken to one as a "surprise" for my 18th birthday but I really didn't want to go and awkwardly made my friends drive me back home 40 minutes.

I've been to a few, male and female.. they were okay.. fun at the time, but nothing too terribly exciting.. Except the one time I saw Tori Wells, she was a goddess, and super sweet to boot!

I've been a few times with friends. I went to the male strip club a couple times with my girlfriends for birthdays and that was great! and went to once with a friend to see women dance just to check it out.
