Dreaming In Blue by Vivid - review by Cutie Wit A Booty

I received a DVD this week as my item to review. I went to my mailroom expecting a huge box as usual, and I was surprised to find an envelope. “What the heck?” Upon opening the envelope, I discovered that Dreaming In Blue, a Vivid Man production, was up for review.

I got back to my room and popped that sucker in. As it was loading, I looked at the case. There were no pictures or previews of all the guys featured in the film, just a picture of Hunter Scott, I’m guessing, and bad graphic design work. I mean not to say that it’s a HORRIBLE thing not to see the actors, but it’s nice to have a sense of the guys who you will be lusting over.

The DVD loaded and began playing previews for hotlines. “Really?” I thought. “I used to see these same adds when I would buy VHS porn from the suspect bookstore in an alley downtown when I was 17.” (I say this because to mean that it’s dated. Pornos produced now from larger companies no longer use these hotline ads). So I pressed play and lubed up.

I was BORED. The movie was basically about a man going through dream fantasies where he’d have sex in hot places; jail, the locker room; usual places for fantasies to occur. But it was not appealing to me at all. None of the men were hot. The film seemed old to me. I wasn’t into the men, the sex, even the cum-shots. I eventually put the movie on fast forward, seeing if I could find some scene to blow my load to. And nothing.

Ironically, part of the cover says “Do You Dream In Color?” and there were NO men of color in the video, just in case someone was expecting a variety of men. I thought that was a bit misleading.

Overall this video, Dreaming In Blue gets one dull star. The performance was “meh,” the video quality was “meh,” the angles it was shot in was “meh.” Sorry boys, but maybe you should think of a different career other than porn.
