Playgirl: Longing For Him - dvd by Playgirl TV - review by Kinky Skier

Playgirls Longing For Him DVD consists of seven chapters and a ton of extra features of not so hardcore "couples sex". I originally wanted to review this DVD as something my wife an I could watch, and at first glance it seemed the perfect choice. More on that later. I believe this DVD is geared toward everyone, though, being Playgirl, you might assume it's marketed toward women. The extra muscle on the guys doesn't lie. But, the scenes do include more foreplay than I am used to in pornography; more kissing and groping too. Guys could easily get into this DVD, as well, as there is no shortage of graphic sex, both oral and penetration.

This DVD stars a number of actors, though I don't know any of these people, and there is no indication as to what scenes they are in. But, the list includes Luke Anthony, Sarah Blake, Christian, Faith, Anthony Hardwood, Jay Huntington, Julian, Kimberly Kane, Shayla LaVeaux, Rebecca Love, Niko, Lauren Phoenix, Reno, Mario Rossi, Courtney Simpson, Randy Spears, Steven St. Croix, Tiffany Taylor, Stephanie Tripp and Jean Valjean.

Since I don't know who these people are, and where they fit into performances in the DVD, I can only give a general review of all the acting in the film, which was okay. I have definitely seen worse, but the sex scenes and the story acting are all a 6.5 on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being great porn acting. It's not so bad it's distracting, but it's not great.

The DVD main menu has three options, Play Movie, Chapters, and Special Features.

Play Movie just starts the show, and with a few jumps you are in the action.

Chapters takes you to 2 pages with chapter blocks that you need to scroll around in if you want to find a specific one.

Special Features is by far the most busy menu. Included in this menu is another sex scene titled "Lunch Time Love", a Las Vegas Centerfold Search "Nico", a behind the scenes with the hairdresser, an interview with Luke Anthony, A photo gallery (photos taken during sex scenes from the film), playgirl TV trailers, Playgirl TV Promo Reel, PlaygirlTV.com (which might take you there if you have the DVD in your PC), and finally DVD ROM content.

I originally wanted to review this DVD from the perspective of watching it as a couple with my wife. Previously we had tried to get pay per view content on the tube, but that was a bit graphic for our first attempt at non-internet porn. We wanted to try something a little more "casual loving sex" style of porn. So I figured this was a great choice.

For us, the DVD got off to an okay start. It's not too hardcore and still shows everything. so it's not softcore at all. But after a while, the narrating, the bad to just okay acting, silly music, and simple story background got to us and we couldn't help but end up giggling and laughing, and just watching as funny entertainment. This might just be us, but it ended up not working for us.

As far as the experience of the DVD goes, it's great. They break up each scene into kissing, sucking, then maybe licking, then definitely screwing, then guys orgasm, so you can jump ahead to what ever you want to see. Kind of funny, but it works, if you're about to cum, and you want to get to the scenes orgasm, you can get there, quickly.
