When I first heard about Comstock Films’ releases featuring “Real People, Real Life, Real Sex” I really wanted to see them. I thought that this sub-genre would be right up my alley. I dislike the artificial, the pretentious, the obviously feigned orgasms that appear in so many other adult productions. I was intrigued by the combination of real people talking about their sex lives and sexy footage of the couples in action. Xana and Dax: Opposites Attract was an Official Selection in the Porn Festival 2006 in Berlin and won an Emma Award for the Hottest Straight Sex Scene in 2006 in Toronto.

Despite my high expectations, I was not disappointed at all. Xana and Dax: Opposites Attract features a married couple who were initially attracted to each other by their differences. Xana is fair, with blue eyes and blonde hair while Dax, the younger partner, is dark with dark eyes and curly dark hair. Dax is uncut and buff with well-shaped, substantial package. Xana is curvaceous and fit with a generous rack and a full bottom. Xana and Dax talk to the audience together about how they met, their attraction to each other, what they like about each other’s bodies and their preferred sexual activities and positions. These dialogues are interspersed with footage of the couple enjoying sexual activities together, including manual stimulation, anal stimulation, masturbation, cunnilingus, analingus, teabagging, fellatio, and light spanking,

The soft lighting and high production values helped me to enter into the scenes as though they were poly friends and I was a happy voyeur. Their sweat, jam and gush seem as genuine as their orgasms. Even the authentic sounds of sex were captured: the slapping of his balls against her juicy pussy, his deep breathing, and their gasps, cries and moans as they come together. We see the jiggle of Xana’s tits (which appear to be completely natural, a rarity in adult productions today) when Dax adds some power and speed to his thrusts.
