Island Fever 3 by Digital Playground - review by OhMy!

The third installment of what has become a multi-volume series, Island Fever 3 holds up its standard of gorgeous scenery, decent music, and plenty of slow-motion shots.

The Island Fever series does a great job of departing from the usual film by not resorting to bad overdubs, horrible dialogue, cheesy music, or the idea that "everyone-only-has-sex-in-bed". Instead, the exotic scenery - many of which are obviously beach scenes -combined with only a music track, brings back a little of that majestic feel. This means that there is no dialogue or need for the usual bad "oh baby...ugh...ugh...ugh" overdubs that can distract or turn a porno into a really good comedy.

That said, this film does suffer from a few shortfalls:

First, since the cast is so small, there are limited pairings and not much variety in-between. This means you don't always get to see your preferred pairings in action.

Second, there is very little chemistry between the pairings. This is a bummer, since I feel a good adult film should be sensual as well as sexual. It should seem as if they are having fun and enjoying a good romp - not just "here's my hoo-haa, now let's get this over with so I can get paid today".

Third, we're purists when it comes to breasts - we prefer all natural and different sizes. So, we can't express how bad Jesse Jane's implants look. Her boobs look like boulders stuck in flimsy tube socks. Yes, obviously silicone is everywhere in the porn industry, but there are good boob-jobs and bad ones. We skipped all her scenes because we couldn't stand looking at them. The bummer is that the true beauty of the film, Tera Patrick, only has one scene. This is a shame, since she is naturally curvy from head to toe, and was the only porn star who appeared to actually be enjoying herself.

While the overall quality of production for the Island Fever series is superb, it still falls short in the pairings. We still wish there was a better variety of women and men, with more Tera Patrick and less of Jesse Jane!
