Use

The Amour Tempt & Tease Romance kit from California Exotic Novelties is great for couples who want to have some fun in the bedroom. It's not necessarily a steamy game, but it's entertaining. I think it would be fun to change the "rules" of the game, too. It would be easy to make a list of things that you can replace the original words with and even turn it into a drinking game.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

The mask is made of satin with two elastic bands to hold it in place. It is about 7.5 inches across and 3.5 inches high. It's a fairly thin material that you can see some shadows through, but it fits so tight on me that it's hard to see anything through it when it's on. It seems well put together and strong enough to hold up to a little bit of wear and tear.

The black "stem" of the tickler is 3.5 inches long and the solid part feather portion is an inch, with small feathers that reach to almost 2 inches. The stem is about a quarter inch in diameter. The feathers are red and very soft. They seem to stay put pretty well. Mixed in with the feathers are some shimmery strands as well, adding a little more fun to the tickler.

There are three dice, all made of plastic. Two of them are 8-sided, and red with white writing. One of the red dice lists different body parts (lips, ear, toes, back, neck, thigh, belly button, wild card) and the other lists actions (tease, caress, massage, foreplay, tickle, nibble, kiss, wild card.) The third die is a regular 6-sided die that is black with white writing. On that die there are different locations (kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, car, outside, your choice.)

Taste / Aroma

This product didn't have a smell to it, and I wasn't about to put the dice, mask, or feather tickler in my mouth...I just assume that they didn't have a taste.

Performance

It was a simple concept for the most part. I'm still unsure as to what they want to happen when the dice lands on foreplay. There are a lot of strange combinations that are possible as well. I'm not sure I would want to massage my partners lips in the bathroom, but I suppose that is up to your interpretation as to which lips they are referring to. I do wish I had an explanation as to how to foreplay someone's belly button. As I mentioned before, the mask fit pretty tight, and it was almost too tight to wear for me. I think I have a pretty average sized head...but I haven't really thought about it, or compared my melon to anyone else's. As for the tickler, it is a nice light feeling. Just don't get it to close to your nose, because it takes forever for that tickle to go away.

Packaging

For some reason, I expected the box to be bigger, maybe because I expected the tickler to be bigger. It is only about 7 inches high in the back, 6 inches high in the front, 3.25 inches across and 1.5 inches thick. I don't know if you can consider it a discreet package because it shows a picture of everything in the kit, but it's not exactly a dirty kit. The word 'Amour' is in a fancy red font and the 'Tempt & Tease Romance Kit' is in a rather plain, black font. There are cute 3D hearts and dots all over the box as well. All in all, it's a pretty cute box and it would work well for a present for a newly wed couple, or an anniversary present for your partner. The box would also work just fine for storage, since you will want to make sure the dice don't get lost. It might be difficult to just 'toe' in the bathroom.

Personal comments

I am going to try to use this one in a different way, as I mentioned before, and maybe turn it into a drinking game. For instance, if you roll 'nibble toes in the bedroom" you have to take a drink for every toe on one foot, or if you roll 'tease lips outside' you have to take a drink and run around the yard. I'll have to work on the rules, but you get the picture.
