Crystal Twister - Awesome!
Overall, I find this toy to be a great anal plug. If you're experienced, know what you're doing, and have used glass plugs before, then this is for you. If you're a beginner, or just not experienced enough, I don't recommend this. It is useless to me as a vaginal toy, and a pain in the butt to "dig out" when it's gone in too deep vaginally.

The Crystal Twister is a very unique anal plug! It's like nothing I have ever used before. I've been meaning to review it for a long time and I wish I wouldn't have waited because now I have to deal with the old "Standard Review".
Oh well! To get started, I want to tell you that this thing not only looks, but FEELS amazing. You can literally "twist" the toy into your anus... and the sensation that gives is just to die for! I know it is sold under "glass wands and dildos" but I find it better an anal plug. It was too uncomfortable to be a vaginal toy for me since it's so small and so straight. Digging it out of your vag is just too much of a hassle, and it's got the wrong shape to be a successful vaginal toy.
It is made of 100% Pyrex glass, so it is strong and very unlikely to break or scratch. I've dropped it (I drop everything! lol) and it didn't
scratch at all. I've also stored it "naked" next to other glass toys and it's also remained un-scratched from that. There are no imperfections in the glass that might hurt, which is always wonderful to know. So it's a very sturdy, strong, and reliable toy.
The glass itself is just gorgeous. It's swirled with blue glass, and a hint of white glass (or what seems to be white). It's just so beautiful and definitely another work of art. You know me - I only love the pretty glass toys!
When getting ready to use this toy anally, or vaginally if you really wish, be sure to have a good lubricant on hand. For anal, my go-to lubricant is either Sliquid Booty, or Maximus. I found Maximus to be the best for this toy since it is textured, and you want to take care not to hurt your inner anal parts. Squirt some lubricant around the anus, and a little bit on the tip of the twister. I like to rub it in all over the twister so it's completely lubricated.
Once all of that is done, you can begin inserting this. If it's too hard for you to do alone, I recommend having your partner help you out. I don't really use this toy by myself because I have a bad back and it's becoming difficult for me to get a good reach back there. I simply get in doggy-style position as my husband twists it in and out of my anus... it feels like heaven. So much fun! Even leaving it in during play or while walking around feels so good!
It is glass, so it's obviously going to be more firm and less forgiving than other plugs. If you prefer things with a little give such as silicone, jelly, etc. then this may not be for you. However, I highly recommend giving this one a try because it's just so much fun! The twisting motion gives a sensation that I haven't been able to find in even the best of the best juicers. It also has a forgiving shape for a glass plug, so when it's going in, it is gradual and wont overwhelm you.
Washing is easy. Warm water and antibacterial soap does the trick! You can also dishwash it, top rack without soap or with a soap that is safe and will not leave a film on glass. That's important, otherwise you'll have a permanent film on your glass. I still recommend giving it a little scrub down with an old toothbrush to get anything you may have missed between the swirls. Vaginal and anal fluid can easily dry up and get stuck in those areas, so it is a little more difficult to clean than other glass toys.

Experience
My experience with the crystal twister has been lovely! I love using it, and it's awesome during sex. You can leave it in and the shape is perfect so that it doesn't slip in and get lost in your bum. I have personally had this happen with other glass toys and it isn't pleasant.
I do want to mention, since I didn't have enough room in the review area to share it: You do get a very heavily padded, fluffy XHale Glass storage bag that is large enough for the glass toy alone with maybe another small toy or a condom. It is a very high quality bag and I love the storage bags XHale gives because at other toy stores they would cost a fortune.
I also want to say that this should NOT be used anally if you have no experience with anal toys. If you are using this anally, don't go past the very last "swirl" so that it doesn't slip out of place. I have yet to have had any problems using this anally. If you are too scared to do it, I wouldn't try!

Still love it! You've read the review... and there's no way I'm going to stop loving this baby! I will try to make a video soon so some of you can see how it actually works. I know you are all wondering exactly what I'm doing with it.
