This Teddy Bear Spank Her is absolutely adorable. I really couldn't believe how cute it was when I opened the package. It's about 14 inches tall and about seven inches long at its longest part. It's made out of two pieces of leather glued together then stitched together for extra firmness. The edges of the paddle have been sanded down and looks like it was covered with a light glaze on the edges to make it prettier. The material on the bear side does have a little give to it. It almost feels slightly pillow like. Poking it will allow your finger to go in about two centimeters or so.

The back panel is just plain black leather with the black stitching standing out along the edges. It does show scratches easily, so be careful about where you place your nails on the black side. The front has the pink leather. The nose, underarms, ears, and tummy imprint are all just stitching in the leather. The eyes are little gems that seemed to be fastened on pretty tightly, but I'm honestly too sure about that. The feet are actually another layer of pink leather on top of the body layer and the little foot markings are actually little cuts in the layer of pink to let the black show through.

When I used this on my boyfriend, he said he preferred the bear side, not the plain side. He said the bear side doesn't feel too badly - he said it just feels like being hit by a blunt object. When I hit him with the feet, he said he couldn't notice a difference in texture. When I tried the eyes, he said he couldn't feel a difference with those either. The pink side isn't too bad, but I still wouldn't call it sensual. It still does have a small amount of pain involved with its use. When hit with the paddle, the teddy bear didn't leave any imprints either which is something I was slightly disappointed about.

The plain black side hurts a lot more because it doesn't have the give that the pink/bear side does. He said it really stings and having the stitching be so far out there makes it hurt even more. I wouldn't recommend using the plain black side unless you and your partner are into pain. A moderate spank with this black side did leave his butt a little red.

The handle itself is pretty nice. Since this is a pink bear paddle, I would have to imagine that their target audience was female Dominants, so they did think about this is design of their handle. The handle itself is about an inch thick, so most female hands can grasp is really nicely and easily. It's a one-pound paddle, but during use, the paddle really doesn't have any give to it. It stays very firm and rigid. It's also one of the reasons that this paddle can be pretty painful during use.

My biggest complaint? The string is, like the pictures show, in the bear's head. While it's cute that the bear would hang upright, it's not worth sacrificing the quality of the toy itself. The string is the reason that I had to give this toy five stars. I can't believe that they didn't think about that before producing this product. However, the string does come out if you want it to but it will leave a semi-large (3-4 centimeters) hole in your bear's head.

Cleaning is pretty easy with leather. You just need a warm washcloth with some soap on it. Just wipe down the paddle and let it dry for awhile, and your paddle should be just fine. It has a pretty sleek surface, so any lube around it doesn't seem like it would hurt it unless you left it on there for long periods of time.

I have to say that this is a pretty decent product aside from the string being in the bear's head. I wouldn't recommend this to beginners because it's a little too painful, but if you're experienced and know that pain is what you're seeking in a paddle, go for this one. It's also a cute idea if you want to try and get your girlfriend into spanking you. I know I can't resist this little bear's cuteness. This is a toy I will be hanging in my playroom just for the shock value and because it makes me smile to see it.

I let jor videotape this, so don't blame me too much if he shakes it a tiny bit. I think it helped because he could zoom in on detail, though. We wanted to add little text bubbles to the paddle during the review, but Movie Maker doesn't do that. Slightly disappointing.

I like it about the same as when I first received it. I'm still completely puzzled as to why the string is set in the bear's head. I rarely use the paddle anymore because it's a little tiring on my wrist, and I feel horrid slamming this bear's head into my boyfriend's butt. Like, really horrid.

Jor still thinks the same of it. It still has a stinging sensation to it, and despite the time we've used it, it's still just as padded as when we first received it.

The paddle isn't showing any signs of wear after all of this. The handle doesn't have any creases, and none of the leather or stitching is fraying. Overall, it looks about the same as when we first got it aside from some hair.

Still a great, adorable purchase, and I love being able to see it hanging from my BDSM toys shelf.
