I chose this particular set mostly for price and simplicity. My boyfriend and I had started to have an interest in bondage and restraint type play. So we both figured that choosing a simple beginner’s bondage kit, like the Bachelorette tie the knot kit, would be the best thing. The color and theme of the kit did not matter to us one way or the other. We did not want to pay an exorbitant price for something we had never tried before, and we did not want to get a whole bunch of extras that we either would not use or would not know what to do with. So we chose the Bachelorette Tie the Knot Kit and waited anxiously for its arrival.
When it arrived, I opened up the package to check out the contents. It comes with four white neoprene cuffs, which have long straps attached to them, and one soft blindfold with an elastic strap. The cuffs and blindfold are very soft and comfortable. I was worried that the cuffs would maybe cut into my wrists and ankles, but this is not the case. The straps give enough slack to be able to tie them to the surface of your choice and still give you a bit of room to move.
Now we don’t have a head board or foot board with rails or posts to tie the straps to, so here is where the first bit of creativity comes in. We lifted up our mattress and box springs, and tied the straps securely around the metal bed frame. A few tugs to be sure they are secure and that they are not going to cause the bed frame to fall apart, and we are ready to play.
The sensory deprivation from the blind fold is amazing. It heightens all my other senses, and there is such a turn on there to not know what’s going to happen next. I really enjoyed the sensation of being tied down, not allowed to go anywhere and just receive pleasure. We were slightly at a loss of some creativity as to what do without any extras in this kit so we may very well be adding to this and having a small collection of BDSM toys. The only complaint we had is that the straps on the wrist cuffs were hard for him to maneuver around and a bit uncomfortable to him. All in all, this is an enjoyable product that we will most likely use again.

If you want to take it to the next level, the Sportsheets Under the Bed restraints do the same thing but way better.
So.. each cuff has a strap? How does the strap end? With any attachments or does it just.. end?
Are the cuffs of blindfold lined at all? Does the blindfold completely block out light? Does it get hot? That's a common issue with wearing blindfolds.

Adriana, The straps are nylon and they do just sort of end. You have to tie them to the surface of your choice. The cuffs are made from neoprene, but the outside of it is napped. This means that the fibers of the fabric are pulled so that it is soft, almost like fleece but not as thick. The cuffs nor the blind fold seemed hot or uncomfortable to me in any way. As for how much light the blind fold blocked, if it's adjusted properly, you can still tell if it is light or dark and if you look down you can still see just a little bit past your nose, but you can't really see what is going on around you.
