Viper tongue - whip by Spartacus - review by Mhari

This absolutely scrumptious whip is perfect for bringing a stubborn sub to heel, for giving that masochist in your life just what they've been dreaming of, for decorating your partner with perfect stripes of red, or for being unable to properly sit the next day. Because of the lasting sting this toy leaves, I'd suggest it for more advanced players. I could see where real harm could be done with this in the wrong hands (genital whipping gone wrong anyone?). In the hands of someone who knows what they're doing, this toy makes a most welcome addition to anyone's flogging toy box.

From the giving end, this toy was so lightweight and fit my hand so perfectly that I can't imagine a better fit for me. I highly suggest this for anyone with smaller hands since the handle isn't uncomfortably large. Since it's more comfortable, you can use it longer thus leaving more decorations on your willing partner.

I love that this is real leather. I'm biased that way and adore the sting real leather toys give. It has a smoother side and a rougher side. The only downside to this is the rougher side sheds a little bit. It doesn't shed a whole lot and not enough to be annoying or make me worry about the integrity of the toy. Because it's real leather, it does arrive a bit stiff. Shaking it out loosens it up and gets rid of some of the shedding problem. There was no smell when I first opened it, and there is still no smell now. I had a cold when I opened it and couldn't smell squat, so there might be a slight leather odor when I first opened it that I just didn't detect. The toy isn't heavy to hold. It's actually rather light. Don't let that fool you though; this does pack quite a punch.

The packaging was nothing to write home about. It was just a plastic slip to keep it safe in transport - that was it.

I adore this whip so much that it isn't funny. I've been hunting for some time for a flogger that would give the sting of a whip while still being a bit more safe and can be used in much more confined spaces. This fit the bill perfectly. It's small enough for me to give precision strikes without fear, but it is long enough for me to still get the whip feel I was looking for. This toy leaves beautiful stripes with light smacks and packs the ability to leave long-lasting welts with repeated blows or (after your partner is well warmed up - kindly remember safety) heavier strikes.

My one sub adores this whip almost as much as I do. During our first time using it, he was pleasantly surprised at the feel of it since he was expecting something with a bit less bite. Ever since the first time I used this with him, he eagerly checks my toy bag when I visit to see if I brought it.

My other sub has more delicate skin, and I admit I'm a bit heavy-handed with my toys. She'd much prefer if I didn't bring this back to play with her again. As I said before and will say again: this is for more experienced pain players.
