Eden furry heart crop - flogging toy by EdenFantasys - review by Peg

The Eden Furry Heart Crop is a great choice for a playful crop that will make Valentine's Day that much more memorable, of course the crop can be used on any other day as well. The appearance makes it a good choice as an introduction to impact play since the bright red heart does not make for an intimidating first impression. That being said the crop can be used by both beginners as well as those who are familiar with impact play. Do not let the furry appearance fool you, used properly the heart will not be the only thing that is red when your play time is finished.

The crop has an overall length of 28.5 inches and consists of three parts; the handle, shaft and heart shaped end. The handle is made of leather and there is a plastic loop that your hand goes through. The loop keeps the crop from flying across the room if the handle slips out of your hand. The shaft is firm but does have some flexibility to it. The heart end has a a furry side which appears to be sewn to a heart shaped piece of thin leather. The point where the heart meets the shaft has a lot of flexibility (tried to show that in the image). The overall impression is the crop is that it is well made with two minor points. Not sure if the furry side will wear off over time and heavy use and the plastic loop on the handle is somewhat thin.

The crop worked quite well and we discovered that there is a definite difference between the two sides of the heart. The furry side is very soft and works well on sensitive dry areas such as nipples, testicles and the back of the thighs and ass. The reason dry areas is mentioned is we did not want the fur to get matted down with any type of moisture. The furry side does make its presence known when the crop is swung however the leather side produces more of a stinging sensation during impact. The shaft of the crop can also be used for impact play and it produces the strongest sting and produces marks quicker and with less effort than the heart shaped end.

The overall length of the crop could make storage a challenge if one has limited space. Ours is placed in a corner of the closet, handle side to the floor so the heart end does not get misshaped. It is easy to take care of the crop however we chose to keep the furry end dry, not sure how they fur would handle getting wet.

The crop is packaged in a thin plastic sleeve to keep the dust off. There were no instructions included with the crop.

The crop can also be used as part of a costume for Halloween or some other event where costumes are called for.

One of the challenges for us since discovering impact play has been the sore hands. The crop has eliminated that issue. Now it just a matter of getting familiar with the crop and how many different ways we can come up with to use it.
