The moment I took the Heart Bat out of the packaging I was struck by the length and the feel of the item. Rubber at the bottom and on the strap, the black plastic stitching up the length of the stem, and the soft leather of the metallic red heart was so visually stimulating I could feel my eyes open wide in delight. It might even look innocuous to anyone who doesn't know the true purpose, but that makes me like it even more, honestly.
I left it sitting in my toy drawer for a few days, but I had planned on using it already for a variety of uses. The first time I used the bat the sting of the heart against bare skin excited me, but I found it most pleasurable when I battered my behind and then rubbed the soft leather of the heart over the sting to soothe it. It isn't quite as hard on my body as the paddle I have, but there is certainly a nice sting that turns into a dull sort of thud when the same spot is hit repeatedly. I like it better than the paddle I have... and something about the sweet little heart just makes it seem even more naughty.
One of my favorite things to do is find everyday objects that I can use more sensually. It makes me feel naughty to use them for other than their intended uses. In this case I found a sex toy I could use for a more everyday use. The moment I saw the crop out of the box I immediately thought of using it for Halloween. Namely, as the "scepter" of the Queen of Hearts costume I wanted to wear. I love that I can use it, and the average person is not likely to know what it is really intended for. Carrying it around all night on the first night I wore the costume made me feel a little bit like a Dominatrix Queen, but I have to admit that it made my costume entirely.
A great part of this toy is that not only can it be used as a fun accessory and as a sex toy, when it comes to clean up? It is certainly the best toy I have in my box. It doesn't usually require much clean up, but I did wipe it down when I first opened the package and a cloth dampened with a little rubbing alcohol works very well on all the parts of the toy.

I'd avoid using alcohol on the leather tip, since it will dry out the leather. Wiping with a damp cloth/gentle soap as needed should do it, and using occasional leather conditioner will keep it in good shape. -
Thanks for that tip! It didn't do any damage to use it the first time, but I didn't think about it drying it out. I'll have to just use a damp cloth from now on. -
